Pet Simulator 99 events can create a parallel progression game with separate pets, currency, upgrades, missions, machines, and leaderboards. The current evidence on 2026-08-04 is the Pets vs. Coins Garden sequence introduced in Update 86 and expanded by Update 87.
Official notes describe seven lanes, plant defenders, Coin Bosses, Farm Plots, Garden Eggs, event pets, upgrades, rebirths, gifts, boosts, a Fuse Machine, Boost Machine, Upgrade Machine, and Combine-o-Matic. Availability can change after the page date, so confirm that the Garden entrance and relevant panels remain active before spending.

Pets vs. Coins
Learn the seven-lane defender loop and separate Garden progress from normal-world power.
Start here: identify the weakest lane.
Plant & Combine
Grow plants, collect event resources, and decide what to spend or reserve for machines.
Use it for: a full farming loop.
Garden Progression
Prioritize Farm Plots, upgrades, eggs, missions, and event rebirth checkpoints.
Use it for: resolving the next bottleneck.
Coin Bosses
Prepare lanes, measure boss failures, and improve damage without inventing a universal formation.
Use it for: boss reward attempts.
Super Rebirth
Check live requirements, protect useful resources, and rebuild from the reset deliberately.
Use it for: Update 87 progression.
Combine-o-Matic
Select eligible inputs and desired output while treating stronger variants as possible, not guaranteed.
Use it for: safe current-event conversion.
Enter and audit the Garden
Use the current in-game event entrance. Before buying or placing anything, inspect lane status, available event pets, plants, seeds, Farm Plots, missions, upgrades, rebirth panel, and machine requirements. Note every currency or token separately.
Normal-world pets and boosts should not be assumed to control the Garden. Update 86 describes Garden Pets protecting lanes and plant-based progression. Test any cross-system benefit through a visible counter before treating it as active.
Check offline or return claims shown by Farm Plots, but use only the timer and amount in your current panel. The official update confirms offline earning exists; it does not make one static rate universal.
Build a seven-lane defense
Update 86 states that the event uses seven lanes and allows pets to defend them. Spread enough power to prevent one lane from becoming the failure point, then concentrate remaining strength where a boss or durable wave requires it.
Change one pet, upgrade, or plant at a time and observe which lane improves. A copied formation can fail because event pet strength, variant, upgrades, boosts, and progression differ between accounts.
Update 87 adds more Garden pets, eggs, variants, and a Diamond Egg. Compare the live tooltip and acquisition route instead of assuming the newest egg always produces the best immediate upgrade.
Grow, collect, and spend
Update 86 officially introduces seeds, Sunflowers, Fertilizer, Sunlight, Rain, Growth Cocktail, gardening potions, and Garden Upgrades. Update 87 adds more plants and supporting rewards including Sunflower Gifts, XP Tokens, Sunflower Boosts, and Bloom Tokens.
Keep a reserve for visible missions, upgrades, rebirth requirements, and machine recipes. Use consumables when they help a measured active window. Do not quote an old cost or timer after the panel changes.
The Plant & Combine guide gives a session route; the Garden Progression guide helps decide between an immediate boost and a permanent event upgrade.
Use event machines carefully
The Garden Fuse Machine and Upgrade Machine are documented in Update 86. The Boost Machine and Combine-o-Matic arrive in Update 87. Each should be treated as an independent current-event system.
Read exact inputs, selected output, quantity, variant, price, and chance if shown. Lock pets or items you need for lanes, missions, collection, or trading. Test uncertain operations with low-value eligible inputs.
Do not transfer a recipe from the normal Fuse Machine or another event. Similar names do not establish identical pools or mastery behavior.
Rebirth and Super Rebirth
Update 86 describes an event rebirth unlocked through Garden progression. Update 87 adds Super Rebirth after completing Garden Missions. A reset can trade present resources or progress for a lasting event advantage, but the exact retained and reset fields must be read from the live confirmation.
Prepare a rebuild kit: know which egg, lane, plant, upgrade, and reward route opens first afterward. Claim any rewards that the UI says would be lost. Do not delay forever waiting for perfect inventory if the lasting reward materially improves every later loop.
Plan around event availability
At the beginning of each session, verify that the entrance, countdown if any, missions, machines, and leaderboards still describe the same event version. Official update publication confirms when content was announced, not how long every system remains accessible. Do not turn a player estimate into an end date.
If an official end or transition is announced, divide goals into permanent account value, event-only progression, collectibles, and leaderboard competition. Finish permanent or claimed rewards first unless the live rules say otherwise. Avoid accumulating a large balance of event resources whose post-event use is unknown.
For returning events, inspect whether old inventory, upgrades, pets, and missions carry forward. A repeated name does not guarantee identical recipes or rewards. Start with a low-risk test and create a new dated ledger for the current run.
Compare event and normal progression
Measure the Garden against the best normal-world activity for the same play window. Count useful pets, items, diamonds, account unlocks, event resources, and consumed boosts separately. Event fun and limited collecting are valid goals, but they should be explicit rather than hidden inside an unsupported profit claim.
A new account may gain more from ranks, rebirths, equipped-pet slots, and core machines before pushing deep event progression. An established account may value current pets, gifts, variants, leaderboards, or the parallel challenge more. Reassess whenever a mission or upgrade becomes disproportionately expensive.
Keep normal and event loadouts documented separately. If the game visibly allows a system to cross over, test it and record the result. Otherwise, do not consume normal-world resources under the assumption that they improve Garden lanes.
