Pet Simulator 99 Garden Progression Guide

Progress through the Pets vs. Coins Garden by diagnosing lanes, choosing plots and upgrades, completing missions, and preparing event rebirths.

Garden progression links seven-lane defense, event pets, plants, Farm Plots, missions, machines, upgrades, Coin Bosses, and rebirth checkpoints. The next best purchase is the one that removes the account’s current bottleneck and improves future cycles—not automatically the newest or most expensive option.

Update 86 establishes the Garden and its initial rebirth route. Update 87 expands it with more pets, eggs, plants, variants, upgrade tiers, missions, resources, machines, and Super Rebirth.

Current-event warning: exact requirements, reset behavior, prices, and rewards are live data. Read each panel before spending; official update summaries do not replace confirmation dialogs.

Diagnose the progression layer

Symptom
Likely layer
First test
Avoid
One lane fails
Placement balance
Move one strong defender
Replacing every lane at once
All lanes fail
Total event power
One pet or upgrade change
Burning all boosts blindly
Plants are slow
Plots, crop choice, or growth support
Measure one harvest cycle
Assuming an old timer
Mission stalls
Wrong action or reserved input
Verify one counter increment
Using normal-world substitutes
Boss survives
Sustained lane damage
Record remaining health
Changing without a benchmark

Only upgrade after the symptom and expected effect match. This prevents expensive changes that improve a different layer.

Establish the starting loop

Enter the Garden, place available event pets across all seven lanes, and watch a complete wave. Collect Farm Plot output, read the active Garden Missions, and identify the next visible upgrade or unlock.

Use early event currency for the smallest change that lets the loop continue: a useful egg, defender, plot, or upgrade shown by the current interface. Keep enough reserve to avoid getting stuck before the next required gate.

Do not assume normal-world team power carries over. The official event describes Garden Pets as the lane defenders. Test any external effect before including it in the plan.

Choose eggs and pets

Update 86 documents Garden Eggs and an initial set of Garden pets. Update 87 adds more pets, additional eggs, stronger variants, and a Diamond Egg. Compare the live egg contents, cost, and likely team improvement.

Hatch when the current formation needs broader or stronger defenders and the spend will not block a lasting unlock. Stop when new hatches rarely improve the team; shift resources toward upgrades, missions, or rebirth.

Fuse or combine only surplus eligible pets. Preserve one complete defense formation plus mission, collection, rare-variant, and trade stock.

Prioritize plots and upgrades

Farm Plots support active and offline resource production according to Update 86. More production is useful only if the output feeds a current mission, upgrade, machine, boost, egg, or rebirth. Measure the marginal gain shown by your account.

The Garden Upgrade Machine has a tier path, expanded in Update 87. Read each next effect and cost. Favor upgrades that improve repeated production or seven-lane progress when you plan multiple cycles; choose temporary support when it unlocks an immediate boss or mission checkpoint.

The Boost Machine can create or manage current event support under its live rules. Do not drain the reserve for a short boost if the same inputs are required by a lasting upgrade.

Complete missions and rebirth

Stack missions with normal Garden play. Verify the counter after the first placement, harvest, hatch, boss, upgrade, fuse, or combine action. Preserve resources for any visible later step.

Update 86 ties an event rebirth to Garden progression. Before confirming, read what resets, what remains, and what permanent benefit is granted. Claim resources that the panel says will be lost and write a short rebuild route.

Rebirth when the lasting benefit is likely to repay the rebuild and the current cycle has reached diminishing returns. No fixed “best moment” is asserted because the live requirements and account pace differ.

Advance to Super Rebirth

Update 87 states that Super Rebirth unlocks after completing Garden Missions. Treat it as a distinct reset checkpoint. The live panel is authoritative for requirements, rewards, retained systems, and reset scope.

Before confirming, preserve evidence of inventory and progression, claim eligible rewards, and know the first post-reset egg, plot, lane, and upgrade target. The Super Rebirth guide provides the detailed checklist.

Afterward, benchmark the new cycle. If the permanent benefit works as displayed, earlier gates should become easier; if not, inspect whether a required effect must be activated or claimed.
