Pet Simulator 99 has more than one kind of “best pet.” Ordinary stat pets carry a visible power value and establish the team’s current baseline. Huge, Titanic, and Gargantuan pets are prestige classes with different scaling, leveling, charm, size, source, and market considerations. Event defenders can use their own damage rules. Compare pets within the job they actually perform.
The official BIG Games Index is the live lookup source for pet type, variants, power fields, existence counts, RAP, creation, and modification records. It currently filters regular, Secret, Exclusive, Huge, Titanic, and Gargantuan classes. Values and exists are snapshots, so this page links the lookup instead of copying a “complete” numeric list that would become stale.
Pick the correct pet index
Regular stat pets
Use the strongest current ordinary pet to raise the team's base damage. Replace it as newer areas or eggs produce a stronger visible power value.
Best check: compare equipped result, not rarity name alone.
Huge pets
Huge pets scale from the best stat pet, level through use, support charms, and come from many hatching, event, reward, machine, merch, and trading routes.
Best check: level, variant, charm slots, source, demand, and live RAP.
Titanic pets
Titanics are larger and generally stronger than Huge pets, can be ridden, and sit in a thinner, more expensive market.
Best check: exact variant, liquidity, existence, and route.
Gargantuan pets
Gargantuans are the largest prestige class currently indexed, with rare event, egg, machine, and market routes.
Best check: official class filter and individual record; do not trust one booth ask.
Garden pets
Pets vs. Coins uses placeable garden defenders plus limited Huge, Titanic, and Gargantuan rewards. Update 87 adds event variants.
Best check: distinguish lane defender from inventory prestige pet.
Official BIG Games pet database
Search by exact name and filter by class. Open the individual record before using RAP, exists, or variant data.
Best check: modified date and current client.
How ordinary stat pets affect the team
Ordinary pets from progression eggs display a power value. Equip the strongest available group and keep the best stat pet even when the roster gains Huge or larger classes. Community documentation consistently describes Huge pets as scaling from that strongest ordinary baseline, so selling it can weaken every scaled pet at once.
The newest rare label is not automatically the strongest number. Compare the visible power after variants and current area progression. A common pet from a later egg can replace a rarer pet from an earlier world.
For quick progression, hatch until the weakest equipped slots improve, then return to area gates. For trading, record exact name and variant. Stat pets can lose practical value rapidly when a new best egg appears, while limited collectors follow a different market.
Huge, Titanic, and Gargantuan decisions
Prestige classes add more than size. Check how the pet scales, levels, uses charms, and behaves in the current mode. Events sometimes apply special defender or damage rules; normal-world comparisons may not transfer.
Before buying, open the individual official database record. Match regular, Golden, Rainbow, Shiny, or combined variant exactly. Check existence and RAP, then inspect price history and actual Plaza demand. A low-exist pet can still be hard to sell; a popular higher-exist pet can be more liquid.
Do not sell an entire efficient team for one prestige pet without testing the result. Team width, best stat pet, levels, charms, and enchants can matter more than one class upgrade.
Variants without guessed multipliers
Gold, Rainbow, and Shiny variants can change power and market value. Some pets hatch as variants; others use machines or event-specific routes. The current Pets vs. Coins Update 87 post says garden pets can hatch Gold, Rainbow, and Shiny, with the rarest variants dealing up to five times event damage.
That official event statement should not be generalized to every class, world, or market. Read the individual pet and machine preview. A variant can be powerful but less liquid, and a Shiny or Rainbow marker can be easy to overlook in a rushed trade.
When converting, protect the best stat pet, equipped team, indexed collection targets, and high-demand stock. Confirm how many inputs are consumed and whether the outcome is guaranteed.
Source and availability labels
A pet can be hatchable now, event-limited, machine-created, competition-awarded, merchandise-linked, transferred, discontinued, or trade-only for your account. “Exists” does not mean currently obtainable. “Hatchable” does not prove the egg remains open in your server.
Use three dates: the pet’s creation record, the source update, and your current availability check. For current garden pets, the official Update 86 and 87 posts are primary sources. For older pets, use the official database record and a maintained history reference.
Never advertise a pet as exclusive to one source unless the current record proves it. Old pets can return in eggs, gifts, machines, or events.
Build a useful pet lookup record
For each pet, record name, class, variant, source, current availability, level if relevant, charms, official exists, official RAP, check date, and your intended use. Leave unknown fields empty. This is more reliable than a screenshot with no date.
For a trade comparison, add liquidity and price history. For a team comparison, add the best stat pet and current mode. For a collection goal, add whether the exact variant counts toward the desired index.
Pet mistakes
- Selling the strongest stat pet after buying a Huge.
- Comparing a regular Huge with a special variant by name only.
- Treating RAP as guaranteed fair value.
- Assuming an event defender’s lane damage equals normal-world damage.
- Calling an official database result a complete list after a new update.
- Using existence count as proof of availability or demand.
Pets FAQ
What is the best pet in Pet Simulator 99?
Define the job. The strongest current stat pet sets a baseline; prestige classes add scaling and utility; event defenders can have separate rules. There is no single answer without mode, variant, level, and date.
Where is the complete pet list?
Use the official BIG Games pet database. This hub provides class and decision views without duplicating its live dataset.
Are Huge pets always better than ordinary pets?
They scale differently, but the result depends on the best stat pet, level, variant, charms, and mode. Keep a current strong ordinary baseline.
Do all pets have Gold, Rainbow, and Shiny versions?
Do not assume every combination exists. Open the individual official record and its variant list.
Where are Pets vs. Coins pets listed?
The Garden Pets guide separates placeable defenders, Garden Egg pets, and limited boss or competition rewards.
