A useful Pet Simulator 99 value is a current range for one exact pet under a defined sale condition. It is not a permanent number copied from a list. Variant, supply, demand, enchant or charm state, serial details, update timing, and the speed of the desired sale all affect what a buyer may pay.
This method is designed for ordinary pets, exclusives, Huge pets, Titanics, Gargantuans, event pets, and special variants. It does not publish unsupported live prices.
Create an identity card
Open the pet tooltip and record its exact name, class, variant, power or companion behavior, enchants, charm slots and installed charms, serial or edition details if present, source, and tradability. Use the official BIG Games database to resolve similarly named pets where possible.
Separate visual rarity from market demand. A hard-to-obtain pet can have few buyers. A more common pet can be liquid because it is popular, useful, visually distinctive, or required by collectors.
Confirm whether supply is open, limited, paused, or uncertain. An active egg, event, gift, machine, or merchandise source can keep adding copies. Never label a pet unobtainable without current evidence.
Gather comparable evidence
Use RAP and its visible history where available, several current booth asks, auction outcomes, recent completed sales from your own records, and current supply or demand signals. Date every observation. Search more than one server to reduce the effect of one seller’s pricing.
Discard the wrong variant, suspiciously high flex listing, obvious typo, bundled deal, and sale too old for the current update. Do not average evidence that refers to materially different pets.
Rank evidence by execution. A completed comparable sale is stronger than an ask. Multiple recent independent sales are stronger than one. RAP is useful context, particularly with healthy volume, but still requires the checks in the RAP guide.
Convert evidence into a range
Set three values: a likely quick-sale range, a normal patient-sale range, and an upper collector ask. The boundaries should come from observed comparable behavior, not a desired profit. Note the date, update, and number of observations.
Apply a liquidity discount when buyers are scarce or evidence is thin. Apply extra uncertainty to brand-new, event-sensitive, manipulated, or low-volume assets. Do not turn that uncertainty into a precise percentage unless your own sales data supports it.
If the evidence spreads too widely, the correct answer is “no reliable range yet.” Use smaller trades, wait for more sales, or keep the pet. Uncertainty is safer than a false exact value.
Adjust for variant and utility
Golden, Rainbow, and Shiny status can change supply, appearance, stats, and collector demand, but the multiplier is market-specific. Measure each exact variant rather than multiplying a normal price by an inherited rule.
For exclusive percentage companions, understand what the tooltip says about team scaling. For Huge, Titanic, and Gargantuan classes, separate gameplay utility from rarity and collector preference. A new class can be especially volatile while the market learns supply.
Installed charms or special enchantments may add utility without adding their full replacement cost to the pet. Some buyers prefer an unmodified collectible. Compare charmed and uncharmed examples separately.
Set a buy or sell plan
Before buying, write a maximum based on the lower part of the defensible range, desired safety margin, and actual utility. Do not raise it during an auction because another bidder appears confident.
Before selling, choose the required speed. A booth can support a patient ask; a quick diamond need may require a stronger discount. If there is no interest after meaningful exposure, update the range rather than blaming every server.
Keep a ledger with acquisition cost, source, date, listed price, completed sale, and time held. Personal completed-sales data gradually becomes more useful than memory or screenshots passed between traders.
Reject misleading shortcuts
Do not treat one value site, influencer screenshot, Discord message, booth, RAP number, or trade partner’s list as authority. Do not price from total copies alone without demand. Do not assume every limited pet rises.
Never accept an “index trade,” “borrow,” duplicate test, thumbnail comparison, or promise to add later. A value argument cannot make an unsupported transaction safe.
