Diamond farming in Pet Simulator 99 has two outputs: diamonds earned directly and items you can sell for diamonds. The better route depends on team strength, unlocked areas, equipped slots, enchants, potions, fruits, flags, masteries, gamepasses, event rules, and time spent trading. Any rate without those assumptions is incomplete.
This guide gives a benchmark method instead of a universal hourly number. Current community reports vary from weak beginner results to highly optimized multi-account farms. Those figures cannot be compared without normalizing the setup.
Run a clean benchmark
Choose one area and a short fixed duration. Record the world, area, server type, team size, strongest ordinary stat pet, number and class of prestige pets, enchants, potions, fruit, flags, toys, charms, mastery perks, passes, and any event boost. Note the starting diamond balance.
Farm without changing the setup. At the end, record direct diamonds and every notable item stack. Do not convert item RAP to profit yet. The item must be sellable, liquid, and worth the time required to list it.
Repeat once with a different loadout or route. Compare direct diamonds, realistic sale proceeds, consumable cost, failure or downtime, and Plaza time. This turns “best” into an account-specific answer.
Direct diamonds versus item value
Direct farming is simple and liquid. You see the balance increase and do not need a buyer. Its weakness is that a team may hit practical limits where more damage does not produce the expected increase.
Item farming creates keys, gifts, potions, enchants, charm materials, event drops, or other stock. It can outperform direct diamonds when demand is healthy, but RAP can be manipulated and booth asks can sit unsold. Use completed sales from your own log as the strongest evidence.
Separate “inventory RAP increased” from “diamonds received.” An illiquid item with a high displayed number does not pay for an upgrade until another player accepts the trade.
Improve the farming team in order
First maximize free equipped slots through ranks and progression. Keep the strongest ordinary stat pet because larger classes can scale from it. Replace weak slots before buying one luxury pet whose price could fund several practical upgrades.
Next solve clear speed. If breakables disappear instantly, more damage may add little; test speed, area coverage, magnet or collection, and drop-focused effects. If breakables remain too long, improve the stat pet, team, levels, variants, charms, or damage support before stacking more loot effects.
Finally tune the job. Use diamond effects for direct currency, treasure and item effects for saleable drops, and hatch effects only when pets are also hatching. Check whether the current event uses normal-world enchants and gamepasses.
Count consumable cost
Potions, fruits, flags, and cocktails can raise output, but tradable consumables have an opportunity cost. Record the replacement price or your own acquisition cost. A session that earns more gross diamonds but consumes even more saleable boosts is not profitable.
Use lower-cost boosts for routine tests and reserve expensive items for a proven route, competition, or limited window. Read current duration and effect text; do not copy an old tier chart.
Free sources such as quests, rank rewards, vendors, minigames, daycare, achievements, gifts, and events can replenish supplies. Compare the time and currency needed to obtain them.
Sell drops safely
Sort the farm into fast-selling staples, update-sensitive items, and speculative stock. Check exact name, tier, variant, RAP history, existence, and nearby booth asks. List small batches first to test demand.
Price is not just RAP. A stable lower listing that sells can be more useful than a high number attached to an item nobody wants. Do not accept a trade window substitution or a last-second quantity change. The RAP guide and Trading Plaza guide cover that check.
F2P and paid comparisons
Label every result with passes. Auto Farm, Super Drops, extra pet slots, extra enchant slots, and other paid benefits can materially change a route. Multiple accounts also multiply activity and Plaza inventory. A result from that setup is not a F2P benchmark.
For a free account, permanent rank and rebirth progress often beats buying an expensive enchant too early. Build slots and area access, then compare affordable loadouts. The F2P guide uses the same measurement method.
Diamond farming mistakes
- Quoting gross inventory RAP as cash profit.
- Ignoring consumable and Plaza time.
- Copying a rate from a paid or multi-account setup.
- Selling the strongest stat pet and weakening every scaled pet.
- Buying a manipulated item because its RAP suddenly rose.
- Testing two loadouts in different events or servers and treating the result as controlled.
Diamond farming FAQ
What is the best area for diamonds?
Usually test the strongest area your team can clear efficiently, then compare it with any current event or dedicated diamond route. The current best area changes with updates.
Which enchants should I use?
Choose for direct diamonds or saleable drops, maintain enough clear speed, and test. There is no one loadout for every team and event.
How many diamonds per hour should I make?
This page does not publish a universal rate. Record your team, passes, boosts, area, direct diamonds, item sales, and costs for a meaningful answer.
Should I open the items I farm?
Only when the reward utility or mastery progress is worth more to you than selling the unopened item.
