Pet Simulator 99 Charms Guide

Equip Pet Simulator 99 charms by pet role, verify eligible prestige pets and slots, compare effects, and avoid costly extraction or trade mistakes.

Charms attach specific effects to eligible prestige pets. Maintained documentation describes them for Huge and Titanic pets, with current Gargantuan records and game behavior requiring the live panel. A charm choice should match the pet’s job and consider how difficult it is to remove later.

Do not equip a valuable charm because a tier list calls it best. The same pet can be used for direct diamonds, item drops, damage, speed, XP, or a special event. Confirm that the current mode applies normal charm effects.

Checked 2026-08-04: charm behavior and eligibility are community-maintained; the live pet and charm tooltips are final. Exact effects, slot unlock levels, stacking, extraction items, and event support are not frozen here.

Choose by pet role

Damage charms fit pets that need to reduce breakable or boss clear time. Speed or agility-style effects fit pets losing time traveling between targets. Diamond and loot effects fit farms measured for those outputs. XP support fits a pet whose level progression unlocks meaningful strength or slots.

Do not mix several unrelated goals on one pet without a plan. Build a farm team across many pets: some support clear speed, some output, and some progression. Keep enough flexible pets for another loadout.

For event play, test. Pets vs. Coins uses placeable defenders and event-specific upgrades; normal inventory charms may not control lane damage.

Slots and leveling

Charm capacity can increase as an eligible pet levels according to maintained references. Open the individual pet panel for current slots. Do not buy a pet advertised with future slots without checking its level and class.

Level the pet through the current supported actions, then decide whether the newly opened slot changes the build. A low-value temporary charm can occupy space or create an extraction cost later.

Record pet name, variant, level, and installed charms before a trade. Charms can change a pet’s practical and market value, but not every buyer pays the full cost of an attached setup.

Equip and extract safely

Read the charm and pet panels before attaching. Confirm effect, eligibility, slot, and whether the action is reversible. Use the current extraction item or method shown in game; do not assume removal is free.

If a pet is valuable, lock it before managing charms where possible. Verify you selected the correct duplicate and variant. Screenshots help when several pets share a name.

Compare the cost of extraction with buying another pet for a separate build. Sometimes preserving a specialized setup is more economical.

Charm value and trading

Price the pet and attached charms separately, then decide what portion of charm value the market actually recognizes. A seller may ask full retail for every charm while buyers prefer a clean pet.

In the final trade window, open or hover the pet details. Confirm the charm set did not change when the pet was removed and re-added. Match variant and level too.

Charm items and extraction tools can have their own RAP and demand. Check exact name and quantity. Do not accept a similar icon as equivalent.

Test a charm change

Choose one repeatable target and record the baseline. Change one charm, keep the same team, area, boosts, and duration, then compare the relevant output. Direct diamond and timed spawn effects may need longer observation than raw damage.

Do not use one lucky drop as proof. Record several sessions or use the current intended tooltip. If the effect is capped or the team already clears instantly, a different role may produce more value.

Charm mistakes

  • Equipping a costly charm on a temporary or wrong variant pet.
  • Ignoring extraction cost.
  • Assuming every charm stacks fully across the team.
  • Buying a pre-charmed pet without inspecting details.
  • Testing in an event with separate pet rules.
  • Paying full charm cost for a setup with low buyer demand.
