Pet Simulator 99 Plant and Combine Guide

Run the Pets vs. Coins plant-and-combine loop: manage Farm Plots, collect resources, reserve mission inputs, and use Garden machines safely.

The Garden loop turns seeds and Farm Plots into plants and event resources, then routes those outputs into defenders, boosts, upgrades, missions, rebirths, and machines. “Plant and combine” is not one button: it is an inventory plan that prevents short-term crafting from blocking the next progression step.

Official Update 86 introduces Crop Seeds, Farm Plots, Sunflowers, Fertilizer, Sunlight, Rain, Growth Cocktail, Gardening Potions, and Garden Upgrades. Update 87 expands the plant set and adds more supporting resources and machines.

Live-data rule: use the current plot timer, yield, recipe, upgrade price, and machine panel. The official posts identify systems but do not provide a permanent complete economy table.

Audit plots and inventory

Count unlocked Farm Plots and inspect each current crop, remaining time, claim state, and offline behavior. List seeds by exact type and separate plant outputs from boosts, tokens, gifts, and machine inputs.

Mark resources required by the next visible Garden Mission, Upgrade Machine tier, rebirth, Super Rebirth, or Combine-o-Matic plan. That protected reserve should not be spent on optional experiments.

Check whether a claimed plant must be replanted manually. Use the live panel to learn the loop before leaving the game and expecting offline output.

Choose what to plant

Plant for the account’s current bottleneck. If a mission names a crop, satisfy the mission. If an upgrade requires a resource, estimate how many harvest cycles remain. If lanes need immediate help, choose the crop or supporting effect whose live description addresses that problem.

Do not copy a universal “best seed” ranking. Plot count, unlocked upgrades, session length, mission order, event pet strength, and market plans differ. One crop can be best for active progress while another fits a long offline window.

Keep a mixed reserve until the next systems are visible. Converting every seed into the currently scarce plant can create a different shortage moments later.

Use growth resources deliberately

Official notes name Fertilizer, Sunlight, Rain, Growth Cocktail, and Gardening Potions as Garden resources. Read each current tooltip for target, duration, quantity, and whether effects stack. Similar naming does not prove they all speed the same stage.

Apply one resource, record the timer or output change, and compare. Use rare boosts when the additional production unlocks a mission, permanent upgrade, rebirth, or strong machine batch—not merely because a plot is available.

Update 87 also names Sunflower Boosts, Bloom Tokens, XP Tokens, and Sunflower Gifts. Treat each as its own resource family and confirm whether it is consumed, opened, equipped, or exchanged.

Collect and allocate output

At harvest, note total output per crop under the current upgrades and boosts. First refill the protected reserve, then allocate surplus among immediate defense, permanent upgrades, rebirth preparation, combining, and trading if supported.

Claim mission and progression rewards before spending the same resource elsewhere. Open gifts or eggs only after comparing their direct use or trade value with the current need.

Maintain a simple ledger: seed used, boost used, elapsed window, plant or resource output, and progression unlocked. A few controlled cycles are more useful than an unsupported yield copied from another account.

Combine through the right machine

The Garden Fuse Machine handles current event pet processing under its live rules. The Combine-o-Matic, added in Update 87, consumes eligible current-event inputs for a selected pet type and can produce stronger variants according to the official note.

These are separate systems. Read inputs, selected output, variant possibilities, cost, and chance if shown. Lock active lane defenders, rare variants, collection pets, and mission requirements before using either.

Do not claim a guaranteed variant or recipe unless the current panel explicitly guarantees it. The Combine-o-Matic guide provides a step-by-step safety check.

Build a repeatable session

Collect finished plots, claim available event rewards, and review current missions. Replant for the next play window. Test all seven lanes, then spend only enough output to resolve the first bottleneck.

Run the chosen machine batch, reread inventory, and protect the next reserve. Before leaving, confirm that plots are active and that any offline claim mechanic is shown by the current UI.

After a rebirth or Super Rebirth, start a new ledger because upgrades and production may no longer be comparable to the previous cycle.
